In this page, you will find the salon policies and our cancellation policies. Please read carefully before and after booking an appointment.

Meliora Beauty Clinique strives for inclusiveness and is Hijab-Safe, LGBTQIA+ Friendly, gender-affirming establishment serving ALL people regardless of their race, religion, orientation or gender expression.

    • All appointments require a credit card or a debit card with a VISA, MasterCard, AMEX logo as we have strict cancellations and ‘no show’ policies. Credit Card information will be added to our booking system and you will not be charged unless there is a violation of our cancellation policies. You can change your payment method upon check out. All forms of payments are accepted (VISA, MasterCard, Debit cards, Cash) except for checks.

    • Appointments can be made online, over the phone or in person.

    • All pricing for services is a flat fee. We are a “no-tipping” business. The best tip is to refer other patrons to us and leave us a review in our system and in our Google Business Profile.

    • Services Outside Working Hours: We will try to accommodate a time that works best for you, however, if you need a time before of after business hours, there will be an overtime charge of $30 in addition to your service fee.

    • Required Forms: Upon making your online appointment, you will receive a confirmation email and text. Close to the date, 72 hours before your appointment, your will receive a reminder email. In this email you will have a link to complete 3 Client Forms which needs to be completed just once.

  • Sometimes life happens and unexpected situations makes us late or change our plans. However, to protect everyone's time, we have created very strong policies. Please note that our providers are employees, therefore, last minute changes affect their schedule and compensation.

    • Cancellations or Appointment Reschedules need to be done 48 hours Prior to the date and time of service. You will receive an email 72 hours prior to your appointment. You can use the links in the email to modify your appointment, as long as is within the allowed time frame (before the 48 hour mark). If is less than 48 hours, the system will show a message to contact the salon. Another way is by calling, leaving a voice message or text message within the same time frame at 360-869-6238. *If you opt out (unsubscribe) to receive any form of communication from Gloss Genius (our booking system), you are responsible to keep track of your appointments. *

    • Rescheduling the “no show”/late cancellation appointment will NOT avoid fees due. Reschedules will be allowed once fee is paid.

    • If you are running 10+ minutes late, please contact us to see if your appointment can still be accommodated or if it needs to be rescheduled. On some occasions, we may agree to shorten the length of service which will compromise the experience. For example, we might not have time to apply polish or provide a massage. On other occasions, we might not be able to accommodate the tardiness as it will affect the rest of the scheduled day and/or will affect employee’s work schedule. In that case, cancellation fees will be charged to the card on file.

    • We will not rebook appointments to clients who don’t show up and/or have a habit of last minute rescheduling, being late or cancelling.

    • After 2 violations of any of our cancellation policies, regardless if paid or not, we will require a non-refundable payment of 50% of total services booked as a deposit to confirm your appointment. The booking system will not allow you to book an appointment until you speak to us and we receive your deposit including card processing fee of 2.6% for such transaction. This deposit minus transaction fee will be applied to the total balance due at the time of service.

    Clients who book in advance: We certainly appreciate your vote of confidence and wanting to plan your time. We will hold your space and schedule other guests around the taken time slots. If you book 5+ in advance and we are holding your space, please try to keep that appointment as much as possible or let us know with enough time. Unfortunately, after 2 consecutive times of rescheduling the same week, we will not book more than 1 appointment ahead.

    CANCELLATION FEES

    • No-shows, Same-Day Cancellation, Reschedules less than 48 hours notice will be charged 100% of the booked service(s) to the card on file. No exceptions.

    • Please note that you will receive an invoice for any cancellation fees due upon receipt if your card declines. You will not be rebooked until this fee is paid.

    • Balance from Gift Card/Certificate will be deducted if cancellation policies are violated.

    We appreciate your consideration and understanding.

    • Upon arrival, please wash your hands with warm water and soap, then use hand sanitizer.

    • Please do not bring any tools, implements, nail files, buffers, toe separators from your home. We will not use them.

    • If you arrive early to your appointment, we have a waiting area and we offer complimentary beverages and snacks for your enjoyment. If a service provider is on a lunch break, you will not be attended until their break time is over.

    • New Clients are considered anyone who has not visited us before -AND- clients who have not been in our care for more than 8 weeks.

  • Manicure and Pedicure Services:

    • If you have any enhancements on your nails, done by another nail professional (acrylics, dips, gel, gel polish, silk, etc.), we require you remove them 48 hours prior to your appointment and come with bare nails. Some of our team members currently suffer from an allergy to acrylics and dips preventing us from removing them. If you have a gel enhancement, and you cannot remove it, we offer an “Enhancement Removal” service which you can book online with your new service. Please note this applies ONLY to ‘new clients’ who have gel polish and gel overlays. This extra service takes extra time so plan accordingly. Cancellation fees will apply if we need to reschedule.

    • We cannot perform a service if the skin is bruised, inflamed, sunburned, or have broken skin.

    Lash Services:

    • Please don’t bring personal skincare products for service. We will use the brands and products we trust and know it will bring you the best results.

    • We don’t remove other professional’s work.

    • Please come with a clean face, with no makeup, any facial product. No heavy creams, lotions, ointments, oils.

    • We cannot perform a service if the skin is bruised, inflamed, sunburned, or have broken skin.

    • As professionals, we are required to work on healthy looking nails and skin, otherwise, we are required by law to obtain written consent by your medical professional to be able to provide any service. We cannot diagnose, we can only recommend and refer. If there is pain, uncomfortable feeling that are impeding your daily routine, please consult your medical professional.

    Discrimination aside, we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone if there is a specific and rational reason, for example:

    • Anyone with open wound(s)/sore, bruised, inflamed at the treatment area.

    • Anyone with a nail or skin condition we suspect may be contagious.

    • Anyone who refuses to listen to our recommendations and/or wants us to go out of our scope of practice.

    • Anyone who mistreats our team, patrons or any colleague inside and outside the facilities.

    • All retail sales and service sales are final.

    • Gift Cards / Gift Certificates are not transferrable and cannot be exchanged for cash. If used for retail items instead of services, local taxes will be applied and need to be paid for. Balance from Gift Card/Certificate will be deducted if cancellation policies are violated.

    • All prices are subject to change at any time. These are non-negotiable.

    • We accept payments made in cash, Mastercard, Visa, Discover, American Express, Debit Cards with a credit card logo.

    • Checks are NOT accepted.

    All services payments are due the time of service. It is possible to prepay for future services if desired.
